Johnny Logan will join the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö. He has won Eurovision three times for Ireland, twice as a performer and once as a songwriter. And now he’s back, this time as an interval act.
I am extremely honored and excited to have been asked to perform as a guest on May 7th at the Eurovision Malmo. Sweden has won 7 times, as has Ireland. To be asked to represent my country one final time is something very special for me and I’m very grateful to all involved with the decision. I’m really looking forward to being back on the Eurovision stage as a guest this time and not a contestant, says Johnny Logan.
Johnny Logan will make a unique appearance as the Eurovision king he is. The performance stands out from all the high-tech performances and will leave no one unaffected. Most people will recognize the song, even if it’s not ‘Hold Me Now’ or ‘What’s Another Year’ this time, says Per Blankens, Show Producer of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
We are mothers, we are daughters, we are fathers, we are sons,
We are invincible, when we are one.
